College..

Posted by JKSSN - June 19th, 2015

Just creating a new newspost to.. some who actually kinda follows me or might wonder where I am.

Anyway, I started college back on June 9 and been pretty busy with my projects and other school stuff.

Haven't been drawing digital. But I am trying to brush up on my traditional skills.

Being used to drawing digitally is now making me realize how hard it is to draw traditionally. D:

Anyway, I'll try to upload something whenever I can.

Not really finished art works, but some random stuff I did and upload it on the art forums either in the workshop or my art thread.

Oh congrats with college and stuff! Yeah balancing schooling and hobbies is so difficult to me, cause it's obvious which one i'd rather be doing more lol. But you prefer to draw digitally? That's the only experience I haven't had because I can't afford a tablet, but tbh they seem cool as hell! But no need rush creativity, we'll see stuff from you when time frees up ^^

I don't know. The reason why I like to draw digitally is because it's really accessible since you really only need in materials is a drawing pen and a program.

In traditional, it's uncomfortable for me since it's WAY different than digital.
I have to plan everything out, know what brushes I need to use, know what kind of graphite pencil and tone works, techniques with charcoals with smudging, brushes, etc, colour mixing and color theory, etc.. it's just.. more complicated with all the planning needed.

I'll eventually get used to it. c:
Thanks.
